Haven't been able to do one of these in a very very long time due to doing the finishing touches on a few things regarding the game. despite the idleness we have a lot of the time i am quite pleased with the direction of the game, my survey shows we have been getting 2 new players each year that stick around and maybe 3-4 on and offers. (we want quality not quantity).
all of the content from pre-aldium expansion for emril has been transferred into the site so i am quite pleased with that. a lot of typos have been fixed content has been slowly edited and made easier to read the reality is not much for me to do nowadays which is a good thing the less major work i have the more i can focus on you guys without that little monkey on my back shouting that something needs to be done right now.
Lore lore and more lore
lore is a never ending thing currently the staff is working on finishing the regions entirely before moving on to other lore content aldium.wikidot.com/the-world is the main "world" link we have slowly been making it where it feels like a actual interactive world and not just one chunk of a section of it.
remember if you have any questions regarding the lore just ask a few people have been around long enough to know.i believe knowing some of the lore is important to immerse yourself better into the game.
Upcoming projects
Aldium empires: i will eventually want to make some kind of expansion that revolves around mass combat and building small kingdoms/ empires i know that conflict wasn't very popular and not many like the expansion content but i feel at ease if we have them fully built and integrated into the game as a "completed option" so expect that.
Class review: i plan to look over the following classes in detail.
Scholar: i feel their passive bonuses could be better so i will look into them
Beastmaster: it feels underpowered compared to the other classes so i will look into it, the goal of the class is to have a non caster version of a pet class.
Vanguard: as far as their class abilities i don't see anything that needs major changes however my concern is the lack of spell maneuvers they have available so i will look into adding more.
Some kind of rogue caster thing: The hybrid class system is great, however they forgot to implement some sort of hybrid rogue/wizard or rogue/sorcerer kinda like arcane trickster is a prestige class. i will look into it however i am iffy about this cause it has never failed us, every time i research a new class the official pathfinder comes up with a new one that is 100 times better so with that said this is not a priority (specially since if a official one gets added i will change ours to that) that happened when brawler was introduced and we had to scurry about changing our martial artists to brawlers everyone remember that? yeah it sucks that is why i am hesitating.
Gods
the gods are greatly fleshed out but we are looking into adding more details to them such as holy texts and things of the like give them a greater feel to the game.
Writers wanted
Looking for writers for locations, fixing typos and maybe fleshing out existing content.i believe in fair wages for fair work so i won't sit here and make up some "payments" as far as solid numbers go. but this much i will say, i will pay writers that contribute and help in roleplaying experience because i am paying a player not a character as far as how much it depends on the amount of work you do for us.
i rather reward in this manner i feel rewarding with gold levels and magical items is a bit cheesy, and it can potentially bite me in the ass where as roleplaying experience everyone benefits from it but also its not malicious/over powered or broken if you get rewarded a healthy amount for your work due to the system implemented.

always looking for dungeon masters to host things just remember hosting quests does not make you part of the staff this goes without saying but i have to say it anyhow cause we have had problems where dungeonmasters get too big for their briches because they can host and become well... assholes or people we don't want to deal with.
Possible magitech
Don't quote me on this yet i am looking it over though last time we added it on our expansion test all it took was 2 assholes to fuck it up for everyone that is all it takes but now that things are settled down better i will look it over when i have free time.
Civil war
for good or bad i want to end this so i will be speaking to players that have shown interest and are active in it to see which direction we are heading with it.
